Yes! It’s me!
During Homer’s Winter Carnival, one of the events is the Mr. Homer pageant. Winning is based on resume, Q&A, talent, and how you look in underwear. The fact that I won (did it on a whim) at the age of 50 shows that if you hang out at enough in town and volunteer, you too can be the leader of the parade!
In all seriousness, the Winter Carnival also indicates increased real estate activity. On the lower bench, there’s hardly any snow. Looking at opportunities either personally or remotely (thanks, Facetime!) gives you a good indicator of what your next home or lot to build upon may look like!
